RiceBomb aims to empower the identity of Asian-America. Our multi-media platform provides users with a means to raise awareness, educate, and discuss issues that affect the entire community as a whole. Our content features news articles, editorial blogs, and videos relevant to Asian-Americans. Aside from producing our own original content, we also encourage and showcase user-generated ones as well. This interactive exchange creates a hub for the Asian-American community to strengthen their collective voice.
The core team of RiceBomb consists of Jin Lee, Keith Leung, and Sungjin Yun. Our professional skills range widely from video production to print design. This creative team combines work experience from various agencies and production companies such as:
NBC Universal, WWE, Watson Earl & Partners, Breakthrough, The Korean Channel, Chen Dance Center, Young & Rubicam, PandaPanther, Creative Kids, and Hammer Rabbit Media Group.
Websites launched in “Beta” are considered to be in the final testing stages before full production begins. Although several elements (i.e. original content, user functionality) for the website are still under development, RiceBomb is still an active site available for users to access.
As the open development of RiceBomb’s content and structure is still in progress, we invite you to help contribute to our mission. There are vast amounts of Asian-American media groups and organizations with similar interests as ours. However our community is still segmented. National news events that call attention to Asian-Americans meet with very little or subdued response. Inspiring creative works have no outlet to encourage others. In order to achieve our goal, we must all work together. If there are any events, news, videos, or anything else you would like to contribute, please feel free to contact us at: hello@ricebomb.com
